Biochar

Biochar is a form of charcoal that is produced by heating organic material, such as wood, agricultural residues, or manure, in the absence of oxygen. This process is known as pyrolysis. Biochar is rich in carbon and can be used to improve soil health, enhance agricultural productivity, and sequester carbon, thereby mitigating climate change.
